According to the ASPCA, there are approximately one million animals euthanized in the United States each year.
Due to several factors, the South has the highest rates.
H.E.A.R.T.S., LLC (Hopson Express Animal Rescue Transport Service) is committed to safely and lovingly transporting animals from rescue groups in the South to their new families in the Northeast.
H.E.A.R.T.S., LLC is a USDA licensed transport founded by husband and wife team, Jason and Amanda Hopson in 2012. Our goal has always been to provide a transport service that we would feel confident in putting our own fosters on to travel to their anxiously awaiting homes. We will be transporting our own fosters on each transport and we will provide the same love and care to each and every dog as our own will receive.

DURING TRANSPORT
Our passengers safety is our number one priority. We are an overnight service. The dogs are never left unattended at any of our stops. We have a CCTV to monitor the trailer while we are moving. We stop on average every 1-2 hours during the trip to ensure everyone is clean, has fresh water, and is content. Everyone is fed a small meal/meals during transport depending on travel time.

RATES
$165.00 per dog/puppy
$85.00 per cat/kitten
PAYMENT
We accept checks/cash at pick-up/drop-off. We cannot accept any in person payment in the state of Connecticut. Please see Payment for further details.
Safe Travels
We have two primary transport vehicles, a 2021 Chevrolet 3500 and a 2022 Ford F-350 pulling a custom built 38 foot enclosed trailer.
Our trailer is equipped with 3 generators, upgraded soft ride suspension to ensure a comfortable ride, lighting, four heating/air units, and a camera to monitor things from the truck cab. The animals are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. You will find our trailer to be crisp, clean, and well organized inside.
